Bristan FC were founded in 2006 and joined the Tamworth & District Sunday football league.

The club is based at Birch Coppice Colliery and Social Welfare club just off the A5 in Tamworth, Staffordshire.

The teams main sponsor is the Bristan Group - a division of the Masco Corp. Kerry Collins recruitment agency, specialists in the supply of recruitment and temporary agency positions also support the club. Both companies are based in Tamworth and have divisions of their groups nationwide.

The team is fundamentally Bristan group employees. Most of the team have many years experience playing at
a higher level of the Sunday District League.

The manager is Mark Bostock, a local player who has played and managed at the highest level both in Saturday and Sunday leagues.


The team won their first silverware in just the second season, winning the Division 5 League Championship and reaching their first club cup final.The championship winning team recorded some impressive statistics including most clean sheets for a season, the biggest win in a single match, one of the leagues best goals per game ratio and least goals conceded per game ratio.

The club has added to the squad for season 08/09 and promotion to division 4 sees them with aspirations of back to back league titles.
